Four Seasons Auto Glass Ltd. is a locally owned and operated family business that got its start in 1987 by my parents. My father began working in the industry in 1971, gaining the experience and expertise by working for one of the large auto glass chain stores as well as another independent auto glass shop.
Becoming well known in Peterborough and surrounding area for his skilled workmanship and knowledge, he decided to follow his dreams to start his own business and work for himself. He started out small, working from home with a brand-new, orange-coloured work van doing strictly mobile work with my mother answering the phone, organizing jobs and doing the bookwork. Two months later, there was no looking back. With a successful start and becoming extremely busy, he opened up a shop location downtown on Hunter Street.
I began working as a helper for the first three summers while on school summer break. After graduating high school in 1990, I began working full time, learning the trade and his ways from my father. After ten years at our first location, my parents got the opportunity to purchase a larger shop, which is still our current location for the last 18 years at 465 Aylmer Street N. (between Brock & Murray). Now after 30 years dedicated to the ideal of providing every customer with the highest quality glass repairs and replacements at competitive prices, my parents have decided to retire. I am extremely thankful to my parents as my family looks forward to starting a new chapter in moving forward in taking over the family business. With my 25 years of experience, I look forward to providing the same dedicated service we have always provided our customers.
